I have a medical condition that limits my physical abilities, can I still participate?
More than likely, yes. By scaling load and intensity, our programs can be adapted to fit your limits and still help you reach your goals. But you must notify us of your condition, and, as with any physical activity, please be sure to consult your physician for proper approval.
Is there a certain level of fitness required to enter the BTB Fitness® Programs?
What's most important is your willingness to become fit. If you think you can then we know you can. Our programs are attended by everyone from marathon trainees to motivated brides-to-be to people who have never worked out before in their lives. We do recommend each client be able to sustain a light jog for 10 minutes.
Will I be tracking my physical progress throughout the program?
Yes. All programs offer:
• Pre/Post Body Fat Percentage testing
• Pre/Post Weight analysis
• Pre/Post Biometric measurements
• Pre/Post Physical Fitness Test
BTB BootCamp™ clients are formally evaluated at the start and conclusion of each 30 day session. Participants in the BTB CrossFit™ program can request testing at any time.
In addition to tracking physical fitness progress, we encourage (and in the BTB BootCamp programs, require) clients to track food/drink consumption, record how you're feeling each day and set goals to achieve during each four-week period. BTB BootCamp clients receive a log book as part of their program package. We have both an online and written system for tracking the progress of our BTB CrossFit clients.
What if I need to miss a workout?
BTB BootCamp clients are expected to attend every workout (18 workouts in a 30 day session, with "homework" on days we do not meet as a group.) However, we understand that illnesses, travel and unexpected obstacles occasionally pop up. We offer up to four make-up days the week following your last day of BTB BootCamp. We do ask that you email your lead instructor to inform him/her of your planned absence. And beware that an unexcused absence will cost your fellow BTB BootCampers extra push-ups!
What do I bring with me to each workout?
You'll want to wear comfortable, seasonable workout clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. A good pair of running or training shoes goes a long way – and increases your safety. Bring a towel and a couple bottles of water to help hydrate you throughout and after the workout.
What if I can't commit to month-long schedule?
The BTB BootCamp Lite program allows you to spread one month of sessions over a two month period. This program is only available for BTB BootCamp veterans.
This "military-style BootCamp" and "high-intensity, short-burst cross training" talk is scary. Will I be degraded and humiliated?
"Private, what is your major malfunction!?" ... Just kidding. We get this question a lot and the answer is always: Absolutely Not. In fact, the exact opposite is true. We're here to inspire, motivate and encourage you to a level of physical and mental satisfaction you never knew possible.
What does it cost?

Can I try a class?
Yes! BTB BootCamp has a monthly Bring a Friend Day that usually falls on the 4th Tuesday of every month. Check here to be sure. As for CrossFit, it is best to sign up for one of our Dynamics Workshops. Email info@btbfitness.com or call 404-688-0100 for more info.
What’s a typical day at BootCamp like?
Once you arrive you’ll check in with an instructor. If you are following our diet plan you will go over your food entries from the day before. The session begins with a quick warm-up followed by dynamic stretching. Each day brings a new workout, which might involve stairs, hills, benches, ledges, etc. Most of the workouts involve some sort of task (you won’t realize how hard you’re working because you’re focused on the task), and sometimes team workouts.
What if I am really out of shape, can I make it through this program?
Absolutely, yes for both BootCamp and CrossFit! We program our workouts so you get the workout that is right for you. Our clientele includes couch potatoes, new moms, daily runners, and seasoned athletes. We have a nice mix of every fitness level. Basically you are doing the same workout as everyone else, but we scale it to your fitness level. You will be surprised at how quickly you improve.
What if I am in really good shape, will this program be challenging for me?
Absolutely yes, for both BootCamp and CrossFit! It is very easy for us to make it harder or easier. Our clientele includes amateur athletes, triathletes, MMA fighters, etc. If you ever find you need a harder push, all you have to do it let us know, we can easily amp up the intensity for you.
Exactly what do you mean by scaling?
We adjust your form, weights used and/or the number of reps to fit your fitness level. Check out this video to see how a grandmother can workout alongside some much younger companions. http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/CrossFit_ScaledWOD.mov

I am not a runner. Can I still take BTB BootCamp?
Yes. Many of our clients come to us with little or no running skill. BootCamp does involve running but you are not running the whole time. You will be utilizing many other skills besides running. All we ask is that you try and do your best. We do recommend each client be able to sustain a light jog for 10 minutes.
I just completed my first BootCamp. Now what?
We at BTB have seen tremendous increase in fitness levels for those who have completed 1-2 BootCamps then continue on with CrossFit classes. CrossFit is the perfect way to maintain and improve upon the gains you have made while at BootCamp. Email: instructor@btbfitness.com to take the next step!
